Well i lost it last night spun in front of an 18 wheeler and hit the wall. Drove it home and had terry over lookin at it this mornin, said it may be totaled. Only hit the front end but bent the fram about 3 in to the left starting right before the sway bar. ???? IM about to take it to a collision center i have a buddy who works there. I have pics but am unable to post them. Maybe some one could help if yall wanted to see.

holy crap... if you want something else to post pics with, www.tinypic.com works nicely.
That sucks bigtime, but it's good you're not hurt. :tu:
Sorry to hear about your truck. The most important thing is that you're alright. I had a "crap in my pants" moment today myself.

Sorry to hear about the truck but glad you're OK. Did you hit some ice or just wet roads?

Ok well I got it to the collision center later this afternoon. I am lucky enough to know one of the guys who works there so my truck is getting treated good. They are going to give me a quote in the morning on the damage but they are going to fix the front end frame. The bad part is my heat exchanger i got from LFP got shifted and has a hole in it so it drains all of my fluid. I tried to refill it twice but it all just empties out in about a minute. I have had to start it 4 times with out any intercoolent, and they all were only one for was like 4 min the rest was for prolly less than a min. You think there is any damage from this. Other than that my motor is perfect so far. Ill keep ya posted.

I hope they fix it to your satisfaction. It was either a hard hit or a weak frame as it bent like butter. Here is a pic I took before we hooked a strap to the bumper and pulled it off of the tire.

I had less damage on my 2002 L and they totaled it out, if it were me I'd let them total it out, I wouldn't something with any kind of frame damage

thats not that bad, glad you are ok, that shouldnt take much to fix, if the frame were bent behind the front wheel id be worried but it just looks mainly like the bumper rails are bent. when ford went to that body style even a light impact on the bumper sent it downwards into the front tires.
just get it on a frame rack pull the measurements and go from there!!

good luck!

Egh, it's fixable. If it's a total, I'd make damned sure I got the vehicle and fix it; or at least have parts for the next hotrod project. ;)

I had similar frame damage on mine and it was repaired with no problems afterward. Insurance companies will typically spend up to 75% of the vehicle's value to fix it.
