Well, I guess I got my first batch of winter formulated gas last night. I filled up at the Exxon in Ennis right beside WataBurger. This afternoon after work I floored it to get onto I-45 and what did I hear??? pinging from hell!!!:hammer:

a friend of mine bought $20.00 of 93oct. and about a mile or two down the road the truck starts smoking real bad and ideling real bad. we found diesel in the gas tank. he went back to the gas station and found a OUT OF SERVICE sign on the pump. so he is getting a check from the company:bs

I've heard many a story of people putting gasoline in diesel trucks, but never vice versa. That's gotta suck!

If my memory serves me right...and it usually does, the pump nozzles are different to avoid this kinda thing. However, we have no control if the truck driver fills the in-ground containers with the incorrect fuel!

Correct. Diesel nozzles are substantially bigger, along with having a green pump handle, in most cases.
