not my cup of tea, but interesting.. its about 100 miles from my house.

is the 5.4L engine that much taller than a 4.6L? just wondering why it wont fit under the hood.. when you dont have that problem with the SVT Cobra..

I believe the 5.4 is taller than the 4.6. But the blower intake on the Cobra is in the back of the Eaton and the plenum routes around the blower as opposed to the L's intake plenum which routes over the top of the blower.

Yeah, the deck height of a 5.4 is higher, I don't remember how much; couple that with the blower/intake configuration, and that's wht you get short of a HUGE cowl hood. :(

MM&FF is doing a project similar to this, called Project Frightning, dunno if they're done yet or not.

read about that in 2002 or 2003 about the 5.4 L motor in a fox body, completely stock L motor, blower, etc and ran a 10 sec pass

if you put the tallest cowl hood they make for a stang on it just a tad of the blower and intake tube stick out...

been a few on nloc for sale awhile back and the MM&FF did one on a older stang and its up for grabs
