should have gave me a call.. i was out working the roads yesterday from 12noon to midnite... The roads werent bad at all, just to many idiot drivers out there...

Yeah.....I wasn't sure who the heck to ask. The damned weather service needs an enema. Stupid Bastards screaming and harping about ice all fricking weekend and nothing happens.

They are still chomping at the bit about ice. I will believe it when I see it.

well we got hit bad with ice.. i got lucky and had to sand the 30 and 35 mix master by down town.. All the roads were good, then with in a matter of seconds the temp droped more and cars were scattered all over the place and everything was frozen...

Im tired as heck.. worked from 12 noon to mid night on saturday then sunday worked 12 noon to 4am monday morning...

It was a prettey eventful and exciting night, i was in a follow truck that had a sander in the bed, was backing up a exit ramp so i was sanding then driving on top of the sand. I was idling up and next thing i know im doing a 180 and smacking the wall.. :throw:

I went out this morning after my Boss called twice. And got side way's a couple of times on the way to my daughters day care. And the frickin day care was closed? LOL My boss ain't a happy camper. I need a beater.

Well i was sanding in a state truck and wrecked one as well...

however i did drive my truck to and from work in the ice.. Front of my truck is completely white from the sand and ice/water.. Sunday night was real interesting coming home.. bridges were still ice but not to bad. But all the ruts in the ice from vehicles werent realy making driving the L with our wide ass tires. So i just took the service road home most of the way...

dunno what you saw but wasnt any of us... I do know they got us sanding the large over pass in down town on the 30 and 35 mix master. We were backing up it cause it was so slick.. But only wrecks we had was mine, one guy backed into a wall and one guy in arlington slid backwards into the wall and totaly smashed the sander...

There was one point when we were on 30 where it goes under 35. Big truck was outa sand, i had a little in my pick up sander and was trying to put some sand down and was backing up into traffic and in between cars.
