Anyone ever own a Bloodhound?

I am doing a little reading on the breed and they seem a lot different than other breeds. They say they are about impossible to walk off the leash as they follow every scent they find.

we had one when I was growing up way cool dog. We lived in the country so I don't know about the leash issue

we had 6 blood hounds when we lived in new mexico, they are awsome dogs
