We need to take RT 80 to hallsville NOT RT 20- RT 20 has 6 mile traffic jam due to construction.

Take Lake Tawakoni exit (Hwy 47)
1. Turn right at stop sign and go towards Canton
2. Junction at St. Hwy 243 (5.09 miles)
3. Turn left onto 243 and continue thru Canton to 64 (10.7 miles)
4. Turn right (East) ON 64 and go to second flashing yellow to junction with FM1306 (3.39 miles)
5. Turn left onto FM1306 and proceed to I20 (3.78 miles)


This beats the cluster that Doug referenced due to construction.

What time are ya meeting at the Balch Springs Sonic?

I think the northern crowd is meeting at the IHOP at 8:00, and then heading to the Balch Springs Sonic to meet the southern crowd before we all head east. No specific time for meeting at Sonic has been mentioned, so I'll propose meeting at Sonic at 8:45 with the caravan departing at 9:00. That should allow an easy drive to Hallsville with time to spare before the gates open at 11:00.
