OK Mr. DLP I need some help. What is the secret to getting the unused sides on the TV screen to turn black? I have seen it in the stores, but mine is gray. Is there some adjustment that I don't know about?

I prefer DirectTv due to higher HD content and they have all the sports access with the NFL Ticket, NBA, MLB, and now Hotpass for Crashcar.. not trying to flame just stating a different opinion.. they were a bit better when they had Tanya Memme doing the channel on how to use your DirectTv equipment though..

On the Dish remote, you press the asterisk button to expand the picture to full screen.

That is really bringing home the HD in style, I still am crazy about that truck!!

Well, I'm locked into a contract with Direct TV right now. And for the record, I kinda like the truck as well. http://www.nloc.net/vbforum/images/smilies/applaud.gif

it seems to me that digital stations not broadcasting in widescreen at the time(like news broadcasts on the local stations) have black borders while non digital stations (like USA) have gray borders.
