Redneck racing at its best. Simple rules for the simple minded... I have started a racing league at Yahoo sports. The racing league is called TALON Racing League (ID#40649). Go to the link to find it. It is very easy to join and it costs nothing. Just need a Yahoo user name. As you would expect, the format is simple. Just pick drivers from each of the three groups and activate drivers each week based on the track etc... Password is lightning.

I didn't have Harvick active just in my team, all my other picks except Mark M crashed.
I won't be leading tomorrow, but this my first time in a fantasy league too, so I think that is how it works.;)
Sixpipes got all his cars in?
Who are you in the league?

My active drivers placed

Juan P did pretty good - moved up a bunch of spots and stayed out of trouble

My guys finished 8, 11, 12, & 24. Kyle Busch was out of control all day and got what he deserved for driving like an idiot. Kurt Busch blocking people early in the race including Stewart whom he finally took out (although Stewart did bobble a bit). Jeff Gordon never really got his act together. Fun race to watch though.

Almost took Harvick after after his Busch win, but Smoke was the car to beat, could only choose one.
Kurt Busch will never have friends in NASCAR.
I have to choose the DLP car every week;)

Just a heads up on teams picks for each race. You can only activate a driver for a race 9 times during the year. There are almost 40 races so you may want to go easy on the #20 to start the year.

This might save me, I can't pick the DLP car every week:D
Guess I need to read the rules, thanks, found the rules.

Ok so stupid question...
you select 8 drivers - activate 4 but can only activate the same one 9 times over a 40 race season ...
Im missing something...
Math .... Not working

You select 8 drivers total each week. You can chose any 8 each week just so long as there are the correct number in each catagory (2/4/2). Only the ones you activate for each race count towards the 9 uses for an individual driver for your team during the 2007 season.
For instance, I had Jeff Gordon and Junior for Daytona from the A list. I activated Gordon so I can only use him 8 more times this year. I still have 9 available for JR because I didn't activate him. For this week's race, I am picking two completely different guys from the A list. :burnout:

There are 36 points races in NASCAR. so you pick 4 of your 8.
9x4 or 36, the math works.
Or you can change your team if you wish as Sixpipes stated.
Team changes need to be done before qualifying.
Not quite as simple as Sixpipes originally posted.:D

Ok so if you can change them every week why pick twice as many as you can activate ?
yes its clear I didnt read the website - I did however bill a hell of a lot of consulting hours in the past 3 days knana

Because you can get qualifying points for non-activated drivers I think, haven't memorized all the rules yet.
The battle of the minds is on, for the ignorant racing series.;)
