Lets hear your opinions...

I found a nail in one of my sidewalls and one tire is pretty much bald, so I will be getting 2 new tires. I have F1s right now and they seem to wear fast, but are a pretty good all around tire IMO. I liked the 555s on my camaro but Im not sure what theyd act like on a farm truck. HELP!!

555's all the way! :tu: F1's don't last as long as the Nitto's. My Nits have lasted 23k as an everyday driver and onle 40% worn...and handling is great considering the HP/

I am running the 555's front and rear, can't be happier with them.

Nitto 555's in the front, ride better than F1's and last longer, have over 25,000 miles on them and still good tread, the Nitto 555 drag radials however are getting bald again

Go with the Nittos. :tu:

Longer tread life, better performance, and a smooth sidewall. Lower price too!

Nitto has better looks and life. THe F1 has better wet performance and marginaly better dry traction.

I agree here except I have had better luck in the wet with my 555's over the F1's.. but that could be because the F1's were getting worn and I moved here where there is a lot more rain.. but will go with 555's again when these wear out.

I like the triple 5's and run them on both trucks 555R's in the rear

From my experience I feel like the Nittos have slightly better wet traction and have compareable (maybe slightly worse) dry pavement performance. Without question the Nitto's do last a little longer and most of the time I see them priced slightly lower than the F1's.

All in all, performance wise, these two choices are pretty much equal, But if the price were the same I would choose the Nitto for the little bit longer tread life.

Also with the Nitto's I can put on a set of the 555R's drag radials on the rear and still have a cosmetically matching set of sidewalls.

I'm going to switch to the nittos next time as well. If you want a tire that's noisy doesn't wear out and get's zero wet or dry traction run toyo's!
