Doug called on his way back from the track. Sounded like everyone recorded new personal bests today. I'm sure they'll update us when they get in.

Other than the 2 hour delay due to traffic on the way back it was a GREAT trip..

Everyone who ran got a new PB.

The track was hooking REAL well. Just like the OLD days at Hallsville. :D I talked to the Owner for a few minutes about next weekend. We are gonna have a great TIME..

I ran a bunch of new PB.

Street weight with 3 year old ET streets on spare rims...... 12.482 at 108.98 - 1.77 60 foot -

Stripped of the seat, taligate, spare, tonneau etc etc...
12.280 at 109.90 with 1.733 60 foot -7.831 in the 8th

On the 12.280 I ran side by side with Madness from Halo ... He treed me by a tenth and I was still on his bumper the whole way... He ran a new PB as well 12.129....

We hired Justin to take pictures.. I'll post them later

:D :d :burnout: :tu: :nana2

It turned out to be a pretty good day.

Doug was making too much power for those little slicks he had. I know for sure the slicks was an issue that limited him to just the 12.28 that he ran.

Mark (HIHOAG) was making some power too. His best run up until now was a 13.1 at FFW Ennis and today with no changes since then he ran a 12.43:eek: What is the deal here?

I guess Sam isn't going to post his time. What is the deal Sam?

Mike Ivy from Tyler with a White '01 ran a 12.76 with his new mods. Pretty good with radials.

Madness also had a new PB with his first run being a 12.19. I believe his 3rd run was his fastest with a 12.12. If only he would have taken out his seat and taken off his sway bar....it would've been close.

Track conditition seamed to be prepped pretty well by looking at everyone's 60ft. time. It was a pretty gusty crosswind which didn't help anyone at all. Too bad it wasn't a tailwind......
I believe everyone's last pass on the track together made them pack upfor the day, since their trucks were hopping really bad after a 30+ minute delay of cleaning the right lane. Too much power.... I believe Madness said his helmet hit the back glass when his truck hopped.:eek2:

Well, time to go to bed.

Had a great time, just wish I could go back next weekend, maybe something will change but I doubt it.

Justin, thanks for all the pictures of me.:) You got my fastest time with the series of pictures against the red vette. I ran a 12.43 to his 12.5x and I got him on the light too.

I had a full, yes full tank of gas, due to getting some terrible gas at the Exxon next to IHOP. It was pinging terribly so I topped off with 104 at the track. 25 gallons at 8 lbs/gal was 200 extra lbs of weight. So much for taking all the other stuff off.

I noticed in some of the pics that you had the laptop in the cab hoohed up to OBDII, did AutoTap record the perameteres during your runs?
Would be interesting to have sample readings from various L's graphed for comparison to see just what perameters are changing and to what degree in comparision to ET's...might be some valuable info to have in determining safe and effective tunes...just speculating though
Hope you Velcro'd the laptop down before take off, with acceleration like that (1.7 sixty foot times) that poor laptop wouldn't think it had been dropped from 6 feet off the ground:hammer:

Ever considered it?
I think it would be interesting to see the output after a few runs and compare them...maybe just me though:(
