According to marina staff two large boats sank because of the dock Failure in Saturdays wind one large 40+ foot Sea ray and a big house boat.
The "Time To Play" I am happy to say docks on the other side of the marina and was spared any damage
Luckily no one was injured but I know how much we love our boat and would hate to see this be it's fate
How does one extract a 50' boat on lake Lewisville when sunk

Wow - the marinas insurance is NOT going to be happy
If the dock failure took the boats down thats going to be MESSY
Usually they just winch it up to near the surface then start pumping water out

We had the insurance discussion over dinner and I would assume the Boat owners after the Marina who will in turn run down the Manufacture and then the construction company. I am not sure the act of god thing will apply if the dock was 120 rated which i believe the UBC for this kind of work would require
Hopefully the boat owner does not get the screw in this deal. I will say the marina staff to this point has been more than professional and communicated this problem to us quickly
