I did get Mayflower. what was the REM answer? I changed channels to Mavs and something else. I know I'd "F" the math...my grandson's 6th grade math pulls the rug from under me...

thanks Mark for the info....I missed the time when they asked about Columbus Day because I was on another channel but Jeff was talking about it later. I knew the answer because its bascally a goverment holiday. what is rapid eye movement? never even heard of it till last nite...I've heard about the first president impeached on The History Channel but I don't remember who it was...I guess I would have thrown Nixon out there just hoping knowing it was wrong....this is what I'd look like on some of those questions...

Rapid Eye Movement occurs when you reach a deep state of sleep.. they tend to move back and forth..

You do know that impeachment is not removal from office, it is simply the legal statement of charges against the accused. It's a two step process, the removal is the second part pending the hearing and conviction.

And there was impeachment looonngggg before Nixons's corrupt behind.....AJ comes to mind.(and also the answer :tu:)

Just a tid bit from American Goverment class :)

I got the closest star although I was trying answer fast and beat them and my wife I tried to think of the closest planet then :hammer: it hit me ..Sun dummy....I also got the longest border had to think using Texas to Cali -vs- the north border goes all way across...missed the decades/millenia question...I guessed 22. I hope it last,to me its better than 1 vs 100 or the one with Captain Kirk.

The only issue I have with the show is that it moves too slowly, not enough questions, Foxworthy does a pretty good job. I think it might last.

Watched it tonite for the first time. I missed the walrus question right out of the chute, I thought they were only on the west coast. Then I didnt know the conversion of teaspoons to tablespoons but the wifey did. I did get the polar bear question correct.. then I got a phone call and the wife was going ballistic because she couldnt hear the tv well enuf over my conversation.

not a bad show and with the kids, it might stick for a little while.. am already tired of deal/no deal. but dont mind the background scenery. :D

Noticed that too, but mom was "pretty hot" early in the show and had a great come back for Foxworthy.
