i loved this truck. i did this to get an '07 C6 vette while i'm still young enough to enjoy it...i'll be 53 later this month.

The right dealer should give you a good trade in on that pimped out truck. They have enough margin in C6's to do it anyway. Remember the sales tax credit on trade in is worth 12-1500 bucks off the C6 purchase. Otherwise you are faced with a long demod and swap process:tex .

I really don't think Shane meant to come across as being negative. He still has all the red under the hood of his Cobra as well. Personally I think those colors flow very well. Shane no longer owns that particular Lightning. He recently purchased a solid Black turbo Lightning.

thanks terr but i'll do much better with an out-right buy. C6s are going for INVOICE right now and i've heard there are more/bigger incentives right around the corner. i've checked around the boards and on ebay and it's amazing how Ls have held their value...hell, they've even increased some. as far as parting-out this truck it would silly for someone to buy a stock L for the same price i'm selling this for and then spend thousands modding it. i've saved them time and bucks.
