In a pinch, you can cut one of the stock egr tube nuts from the egr tube and take a quarter and some high temp silicone. Instant cap! Costs uh, about $.25 cents.

I'm about to tackle this project and was looking for some pointers on getting the egr pipe unscrewed from the manifold. It looks like a PITA to reach.

Do you have to turn the egr off in the comp for the egr delete? Or will it just not through a code?
