My son went yetserday and said it was awesome. Might be one of those landmark technology films that come around every once in a while. I plan on seeing it soon. Can't wait to get the DVD for the DLP. :cool:

No. It's the story of the Persians attacking Greece with reportedly 300,000 men versus the 300 Spartans led by Leonitus (king of the Spartans at the time). And, iirc, they help the pass against the 300k, tho they all died.


edit: numerical correction (finished watching the documentary): 300 Spartans, 10,000 Greeks, 300,000+ Persians; not gonna give away the "last stand" bit, leave that for the movie. ;)
