question about octane boosters

Well I was just wondering if using octane boosters would cause any problems with the engine or anything. I'm in california now and all they have over here is 91 octane gas and I just hate putting that stuff in the truck I've actually used some octane booster in the last 4 tanks that I filled up just wondering if I was gonna miss anything up by using them so any input would be appreciated.

Most off the shelf octane boosters only raise your octane .1 % Thats point 1.

There are a few that actually work..... So I'm told.

But IMHO, in the long run it would be cheaper to either get a tune for the 91 octane or buy a meth injection kit, and just run de-natured alcohol.
