The smaller upper tends to induce more belt slip than reduce regardless of lower size.
With a 4lb lower and a 2.75 upper you would be close to 16.8 lbs of boost with stock exhaust. If I remember right you don't have the supporting mods (pumps and injectors) so that would be dangerous IMO. Not trying to be a Richard but just trying to give a warning so you can be safe on the block.

Yep, I know about the supporting mods. Im working with Terry to get the pumps, injectors, headers, and MAF (and whichever pulley I decide). Me and a buddy are going to install everything (mostly him, Ill hold the flashlight in one hand and a beer in the other!!) and hes going to make some TDs.
Mod bug bit me faster in the L than it did in the Camaro.

with that pulley combo you should be pushing 22 23lbs of boost, so that should be sufficient to crater it on pump gas:evil

I like how you can still use the Metco hub with that pulley, the JLP 10#er is one piece, and there might be days I don't want 20+ psi and could switch back
I think I'll be sending him a pm
