I cracked my first set of drilled rotors at TMSschooling a CobraR at the OnTrack. So I bought the slotted rotors they were a lot tougher for heavy use. The Pagid pads were also awesome. If it's German it has to be good. My dealer cost on the rotors was 500 each and pads were 400. I spent more on brakes than most guys did on mods period at that time:beer: . The only thing better than buying 3,800 front brakes is replacing 1,300 in pads and rotors a few months later:burnout: . Well over 5 grand in brakes in 35K miles, but I wouldn't change a thing.

it depends on how you drive. I went through one set of 400 dollar race pads in a single weekend at On Track. I have some customers that never go through a set of pads in 3-4 years. I ate stock pads every 9K miles along with front tires. Most folks make 30-40K on stock pads. I had so much brake dust on my pads they looked like they were powder coated. Of course the 4" brake duct was blowing the dust everywhere. I had a cool brake dust trail going down the front fenders and doors.

Some of us love our trucks more than others. By the time you are on your third or fourth set of EBC's you could have been enjoying Brembos all this time:hammer: .

I powder coat the front rims in a week with the Hawk HPS pads, and go though pads in ~10K, but still have the stock 2000 rotors, touch surface ground not turned 2 times, still plenty left on the rotors.
I can't imagine how you guys burn up rotors so often.

I need brakes badly. With the 20" rims, the stock brakes look like shizzle.
