I picked up a bow for my son on his 9th birthday and he loves it, seems like everyone I talk to is in to bowhunting. I haven't fired any of my rifles in a while but I manage to shoot my bow everyday.

Have you tried the blazer fletches? I picked up some speed by added them and also the tracer nocks work good too. I'm dying to go hog hunting

I havent tried the blazers yet.. I have heard some good things about them though.. I have heard different comments on the tracer nocks too..

I have two bows, one for hunting (just sold it and have another one waiting) and a target bow.. the hunting bow has a whisker biscuit and the blazers are supposed to last longer than other fletching.. I am running some very small quickspins on those arrows (a/c/c's)
I am shooting a/c/c's on my target bow with glue in nibs, with 3.5" fletching with no spin on them.. 60 lb draw and all the arrows are within 0.5 grains of each other.. I get 270 ft per sec on it.. around 250 on the hunting bow with 55 lbs of draw on it.. 28" draw length.
I love to shoot my bow.

Cool I used to use whisker biscuits but switched to BoDoodle rests and have noticed a few more fps and a little more accurate. I have used killer vanes and blazers, I got the best results with the blazers. There is also a good website for bow tuning an d tech. stuff HuntingNet.com all kind of archery stuff on there.:tu:
