I say we win tonight but I'm not optimistic enough to predict the series. So goes Dirk so goes the Mavs, or something like that.

The Mavs will win at GS Thursday night and be back here for game 7. To answer an early question. The Mavs will play Houston/Utah winner.

I really hope they can pull it off...
If i had to make bets...I would choose the warriors tho.

I might agree with you except they showed some metal last night. When they were down the previous games they looked like they didn't care if they won or not. Last night in the 4th they played like a team who won 67 games instead of the team that backed into the play-offs. Their backs are still against the wall. I'm hoping they come out pissed off.

not to mention the fact that the Warriors may be without a couple key players.
We'll see what the backlash is on Jackson for his second ejection of the series and for Richardson and his skirmish with a fan.
I haven't seen anything on either yet, but I figure it'll be out either tonight or in the AM.

Dirk showed up last night. That was the difference. Also Baron Davis fouling out helped the Mavs quite a bit. I'm impressed that Dirk is able to be "the clutch player" when needed. The Mavs need him to step up like that in EVERY game.

Call me pessimistic (or the fact that for some reason this year I just don't care much about the Mavs), but I think the series ends tonight. :(

"This is not like last year was," Cuban said. "Losing the finals was really painful. This is just the first round."

Yeah right, I like loosing in drag racing in the first round, much better than making it to the finals and loosing.

That's one of the most moronic things the man has ever said.
You just got your butt whipped by a team that barely won 50% of its reg. season games... after you finished with the 6th best record in the _history_ of the NBA. That is more painful (and revealing) than losing in the NBA Finals.

Chancey Billips, Jason Kidd, Rashard Lewis, or Gerald Wallace, who else is out there that the Mavs might want that would make a difference?
