Pinion angle

How does one go about *measuring* the pinion angle? Is there an optimum reading? Since you performed the flawless work, you may remember the truck is lowered *almost* 4 inches in the rear. I'm curious to see if there is more stress on the rear end due to the driveshaft's position at the U-joint with the differential. I'm trying to avoid a broken driveshaft due to a good launch.

I remember it looking pretty good. Pinion angle is how the angle of the joke on the rear end matches up to the direct line to the yoke on the transmission. Now axle wrap undere hard acceleration changes that angle, severely with slicks. That is where traction bars like Metco's help to keep stress and binding force off of the joints and driveshaft.
