Well I'm deciding to chuck my Helo wheels and solve my breaking problem which has happened three times. I found a set of 4 chrome 99 L wheels, but I LOVE the black rim/polished lip look. Soooo I was wondering if anyone here knows someone who could professionally powedercoat just the spokes, leaving the lip polished. Here's an example of what I'm looking for.

I've heard of a place called Custom Powercoating that's down in Dallas, but ive never heard any reviews on their work, and I know chrome is a beeyotch to strip/powercoat

I've gotten mixed reactions on the black/polished lip on that rim, opinions versus an all black variant?

Iv seen the first one you showed and I think the all black looks better. if not my fav is the black with just the polished lip or machined lip. But thats just what I think.

Do you have any pictures of that truck or those wheels? I've been looking for pictures of it in real life for a while now.

I had a all black Mustang and did the all black wheels.. while it does look nice, the polished lip looks better IMHO. The all black look with black tires gets to be too much black without any breakup..

+1 that is were mine were done at, I gotta go down there this week and get two of them fixed. Nothing they did, just some retards at the tire shop swaping my tires to the new ones put some damage on them.

I've been thinking of painting the spokes (upper left pic) maybe the dark shadow gray and leaving the rest the factory silver but after seeing these pictures now I'm considering polished on that outer portion instead.

You're my hero! I'm def. doing the polished lip idea ( i dont even need to polish it since theyre chrome already lol. I'll post pics when it's done...rims might be here this week, then, as Tyson and the other guy said, Ill prolly go to Star Tire to get them powdercoated. I can't wait!
