He says it has mufflers but I doubt it

here is a kid almost falling out of his ride to see what was behind him making noise

I think its this one
http://www.ultrastreet.net/632_1000_bd.asp

Notice the custom valve covers - I DONT think this one was off the shelf
http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/data/6129/medium/joe-joes-632DSC_1026-3.jpg
Its over 1000 HP - Once his '55 is done he is sending this one back to have the rear half redone - bigger tubs and better suspension for bigger tires
Also changing the roll cage to NHRA legal version - He expects it will go 8's in 1/4 IF he can get it to hook

There are a few more pics in the gallery

Its kinda fun riding around with the chute hanging off the back.

Not sure if the headers go thru the inner fender or not

Okay so flame suit on, what kind of MPG does it get?
Just curious, with that much HP in a light car it could have a 2.xx rear in it and get good MPG too.

I wouldnt ask - it idles at about 1300 in neutral - it sounds like its sucking down barrels at a time

I did get to experience a transbrake launch in the middle of the street though... :evil:evil

Joe keeps complaining that it doesn't have enough tire... - No kidding ... lol :rll:

It does ride pretty good - the front end bobs a little but im sure the springs are straining under the weight of the block

I spoke to the builder and he said

By the way the engine is a 632 and doesnt have big chief heads it has CFE Bmf heads.

His name is George - Hopefully he will be able to register here

By the way he spent 32k on the engine..started as a simple 632 then he added everthing fancy that they offer as upgrades. like brodix aluminum block, jesel shaft rockers jesel belt drive etc. etc. I built the hood, motor plate, air cleaner, headers, exhaust, mufflers, radiator, shroud, core support, notched and filled firewall, chute mount, accessory mounts etc. etc.

curious...what compression ratio was he running? i was going to say that it didn't smell like the advertised 10.75, but then it can be hard to tell with a 600+ cube motor.

hotrodsbygeorge
05-18-2007, 10:04 AM
If I remember correctly its 11.5 compression.
