Whats it run to have your spark plugs changed, or more easily put Terry what would you charge me??? :icon_biggrin:
i know ford changes the stock ones for like $200:eek2:

i bet you could talk terry into doing it for a 100 dollar bill, but the going rate is about 160 by the book

I usually do 100 and 20 for plugs. It would be best to get 2-3 people in one place for a change. It isn't worthwhile for me to drive arcoss town and burn a day from my weekend for 100 bucks truthfully. Kris and Tony want changes also. If we could do all three at once it would be a good day.

I already have the plugs, I just want someone who's done it before to do it so I can see how its done, from there I should be good. Maybe we all could meet some where Don't know when just started new job and am working six days a week.

I don't...but for 300 I guess I will :( Its not that I don't, I know where they are and have worked on alot of cars before, just wanted to see it done so I have a basic idea.

It's not rocket science. Do a search Terry has posted the necessary tools, not that many really.
Since they are Al heads I recommend doing when the engine is cold after sitting overnight.
I also recommend doing them when not pressed for time...have a beer change a plug, watch a little NASCAR, repeat...

Thanks, I saw the snap on extra deep socket and the 7mm swivel. I should get my pulley this week and will probably shoot for next Sunday, and other tools for this I should use, what works best?

Watch out with those coil pack set screws. For some reason, they like to bounce all over hell and back when dropped. The first time I did a plug change, I dropped one of the damned things inside the cylinder. I fished it out with a magnet. Ate up alot of time and most of my patience.

Just picked up all spark plug changing goodies, had to chase down a snap on guy for the socket (extra deep 5/8) a 7mm swivel and a 7mm rachet wrench. I also got some extensions, swivels, and even a magnetic tray. I will try this on Sunday weather permiting. I know the first time is a pain but hopefully it will get easier the more you do it.

Take your time and Don't drop anything, it can take hours to find it.
If you do drop something it seems to wind up in the lower control arms for me.

Me too. I need my plugs, sway bar, fuel filter and rear Bilsteins done too if it helps make it worthwhile to break the trailer out for a few of us...

Well got the pass. side done got the back one on the drivers side started on the next got it out and HOLY FRICKIN SH!T!!!! it has to rain. What a B-yatch:mad:

Now you know why people want to charge out the arse for a plug change. Ford could not possibly have made it a bigger pain.

Can you put a better set of fuel rails and git rid of all that emission crap, but still leave enough to pass. I think I could do it in an hour or less but I didn't start on the drivers which I will do next time. I just don't have a big garage and weather sucks.

Terry can change them sum bitches in the time it takes to eat at What A Burger....But he has had alot of practice.

I used to do them for a case of Miller lite.
Well kind of...would show you how do them, provide the garage, tools, and a little supervision.;)

DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I think one of the coil packs #6 or7 bolt might have gotten a little cross threaded at the end, This will be fun to fix. I'll wait and have Terry clean my IC and worry about it then.
The snap-on socket worked awesome glad I bought it I also got the other stuff too.
