Who wants to help me build my Arc? This rain is crazy man! It's almost July. No burn ban for fireworks this year, they got shut down the last two years...

These 70 hour weeks are beginning to get on my nerves. We have only had 3 days off since May 1st. When it rains it really messes up the phone lines:hammer:

Can't take much more. Gainesville is f'd. I was down at lake Whitney a few weeks ago and it was flooded into the parking lot by the dam. Dam was open all the way, still couldn't keep up. The damn think rose 3-6ft. the day I was there.

Yep...every time it rains, all my guys start calling the office wanting to go home. We tell them every single time to hang loose and wait for the rain to stop. Do they ever get it...no they don't. They are doomed to spend the remainder of their limited existance on earth, working hour by hour to scratch out a meager living, forever questioning why they never seem to get a lucky break.

It makes me want to video tape them trying to go home early so I can play it back for them in December when they are bitching because there is nothing to do.

I know how to make it stop raining... Repair or replace my bed cover. It has rained ever since it broke in May. I am waiting on Lund to warranty it. Until then all my stuff gets soaked!

We got one Sunday off since I posted this. They figured we would get off of service emergency on Tuesday but then it dropped 3 inches in Ft Worth. So there goes this weekend and to top it off it rained in Grand Prairie yesterday. I watched the news and they are calling for rain all week again! Damn I just want a freakin day off!

I figured by now you would have fixed the whole network. Sounds like eningeers need to make a more water resistant system. Its not like they expected the field lines to be dry and never see rain...
