Clark Bros without a doubt! They will not rip you off, in fact I use to work with the owner Scott Clark when he still worked at the GM plant here in Arlington. Both Scott and Eric run a very smooth shop and they have some amazing body and paint guys working there. I've been doing business with them for 6 years now, they did work on my last truck and they've done work on my L.

If you cant trust Clark Bros then I wouldnt recommend you trust anyone

had my Jeep wrangler painted by a maaco........ paint lasted all of 3 months, and I barely drove it

Its been said before, do you want cheap or good?? the two rarely go together in the same sentence

He still own it? The first one he did got stolen. He then did the current orange one and a yellow one for a customer I think lives in Arlington area .He was sponsor for the truck section of that carshow so his name was out there big time and he took top honors. He did deserve it. A factory built, lowered L with rims, hood, grill, snugtop with a good wash/wax is no match for that truck. It has ALL that plus the looks of the conversion & interior but many may not know that it had an Eaton on it and that orange color is certainly an eye opener. If he can do all that to a basic truck and turn it to something the execs at GM came to look at he certainly can paint a hood.He gets my :bows

One of the best Black paint jobs I have seen was done by MAACO on a 69 GTO, but the owner did all the prep work and then color sanded/polished it.

I also have seen a mineral spirits dilluted rolled on Rustoleum job that was sanded and polished out.
It looked like a 15 coat lacquer job.

Painting is easy part, the prep and finishing is the hard part. IMHO.
