First they say

This dry nitrous system is full adjustable from 25-50HP and up to 175HP with special tuning.
then they say
NOTE: Do not use any chips or devices that will advance the ignition timing beyond stock.BOOM !!

Ive always heard that dry is BAD

Dry is not BAD... you just have to set it up right.

I am not sure the MAF or injectors have the range for much dry shot. You definately need a NX tune. Stock timing peaks near 20 degrees. You need colder plugs and fuel pressure safety switch etc. A window switch would be a nice extra. I like it wet and ready to blow at any minute:tu:.

I know VERY few lightning owners over the years that had happiness with dry shots

I was thinking 50hp not for the power of the NOS but that it comes out 125 degres below zero and would help out on those hot heaton pumps. I just put that 6lb pulley on, could you go all the way up on the fuel and all the way down on timing and run the 35 or 50 shot for cooling benifits???

You would loose more HP in the timing decrease than you would gain with the 50 Shot...IMHO. In other words...one step forward...two steps back.

Just put a 10# ring on and open up the NOS tank ...

Well I ment that as a starting point, turn up the timing as you go

Yeah...just run a fish tank air hose from the tank into the intake. When your ready for NOS...just open the valve and hang on.

Seeing as how this is a Lightning Forum, it would normally be assumed one where talking about Lightnings. If one where talking about LSwhatevers, it would be ones responsibility to make mention of this info. That way we can all blow off the post as being worthless to the majority of us. Maybe you should drive through...:tu:.
