Ford Lightning Heads-Up Class on 12/14

[Denton Dragway]

We have added a Lightning Shootout to our Domestic Dominator race on Saturday 12/14.

*Lightning Pickups only
*Must have tags, inspection, insurance (current)
*Must be driven to track
*Heads-Up on a full tree

Winner will get some Denton Dragway goodies and the accolades of all your fellow racers.

Must have at least 8 Lightnings to run the class, so come on out. We are also going to have some potential sponsors at the track to try to get some cash and prizes to give away next month.

Gates at 6:00
Time Trials at 7:00
First Round at 9:30

$10 admission, free tech card for all those running the Lightning Class.

Hey Denton Dragway, is there any truth to the rumors I have heard about converting your track to 1/4 mile?

That would be sweet.....they would definitely have to do something about parking and staging lanes though

Looks like most of our guys can't get away two weekends in a row. I bet we could give you at least eight Lightnings from our club early in January as long as we had time to adjust our schedules. I will probably come out Saturday night to make a few runs anyway. What other race formats are you running this weekend? :cool:

They are running personal bests and theer are only 40 people there...

Just a thank you note for 6er, he took video of me on the 1/8 mile at Denton.

Pretty cool for me, but same old, same old for most of you. Ran consistent 8.13-8.16s, except of course for the video at 8.21.
