i'm looking at picking up a C&L plenum (one of these (http://www.brownbrosparts.com/product/62049/60703/)) sometime next week.
does anyone have any feedback on the polished ones?
how about Brown Bros? are they reliable?
thanks!

Dont know anything about Brown Bros, but I have a powder coated one on my L. I did that upgrade with the pulley and ported blower.

I've seen a couple of the polished C&L elbows. They look pretty sweet and definitely allow more air flow. Both set-ups that I've seen came from LFP and consisted of a C&L elbow, AccuFab single blade throttle body, and extrude honed upper intake. A retune was required on both trucks due to the dramatic increase in air volume.
Be advised that because the C&L elbow is a cast piece, there will be some places where pitting occurs, even after it's polished. Nothing major... it still looks nice. Enjoy. :tu:

thanks for the feedback yall:tu:
i'm in the process of rounding up all the pieces in front of the blower. i managed to pick up a accufab polished sbtb off of nloc:icon_cool: last week. hence the desire for the polished plenum now. also need a 90mm maf before tune, so i'm gonna hold off boltin any thing up.
...so i still have a couple pieces left to track down before i start bolting on the pow'r :burnout:
my truck has been stock since i bought it...so i'm itchin now that its paid off :evil

I have started doing mine one step at a time, first was tuner and CAI, then the six pound pulley, next is the C&L and the throttle body. Then dyno it again.
you might want to check the package deal on rpm outlet they have the c&l plenum and throttle body for like 499.99 for both

LFP has the same thing and I believe you get the billet TB with it.
