Heard of a trick to cure fault lights from worn cats. You install an anti-spark plug fowler bushing, drill a 1/2 clearance hole and install. It moves the 02 senser farther out.Just something i heard and was wondering if anyone has done it instead of the wire jumpers.

I think having your tuner just turn it off in the tune is much easier:rolleyes:

i believe if you run faster than 7's in an 1/8th you need a helmet. don't quote me tho. i haven't been out there since my sophomore year of highschool.

Do what you want, it's your brains that are going to get scrambled if you wreck, but I would strongly recommend you wear a helmet when drag racing. Even at 80 mph, wacking your head on the window(front, side or rear) is a real probability if you hit the wall or roll over. I personally won't loose any sleep if you die stupidly, but I bet you have somebody that will be sad. The never ending thought that, "if only he had been wearing a 100 dollar helmet", will ring in their ears forever.
Good luck with what ever you decide to do....:tu:. Just remember that nobody...and I fricking mean NOBODY...ever believes it is going to happen to them.

Actually, I probably paid more than a 100 bucks for mine too. I was talking as a minimum...:D.
Alot of tracks...actually most that I have been to, will have loaner helmets you can use also. Some charge a few bucks rent...some let you use it at no charge.
If a person can't afford a helmet...they shouldn't be waisting their precious few resources on racing anyway...:twitch:.

Agree, and my helmets typically cost around $400, one saved most of my brains, just not all of my skull and facial bones.
Race gas costs >$100.:D
