I just saw it on the news. What a mess. You know people had to be hurt or killed in that. A very sad incident.

dang watch the 'raw video' version in the link tiffo posted. Note the workers standing around. That's crazy if 55 gallon drums are flying two hundred feet in the air and over a 1/4 mile:eek:- I'm outta there:burnout:

Yeah, did you see the video labeled "WFAA Raw Video: The beginning of the Dallas explosions". It looks like it is from the downtown dallas tower cam. You can see some guy standing back there behind the building for a little while trying to spray it with a waterhose, like that was going to do ANYTHING for it. Once it gets a little overwhelming, you can see him walk off to the left of the screen out of the front of the building. I would have been out of there the second it started. Must have been the owner or something trying to save the place. Pretty Crazy stuff.:throw:

that guy with the hose hung in there quite a while before giving up. he did his best to keep the bottles cool but to no avail. it was great that nobody got killed. i wondered all day why the highways were kept closed so long until i got home and saw the news. the roadways were full of debris. it'll take all night long to clean it up.
