I searched and searched but could not find any recent posts on lowering. If you find one put it up but what does everyone have? I finally got some $$$ coming in and wanna lower the truck. Suggestions would be greatly appreicated and I am not looking to spend a ton on it. Just something simple and nice.

I have the ruslow front springs and 4in shackles in the back and I like the way it sits, but if I were to do it over again I would just go with the Hotchkis TVS kit and be done with it:tu:

+1 on the TVS but I do have some lowered springs at the shop i would sell for $40.00 Bell tech and then you could buy a set of shackles on the cheap and probably not spend to much

Ya, thats a lot cheaper than $700. I got one day to do it since I work 6 days a week. Guess I need to start ordering parts. I got tires coming in tomorrow. Discount was expensive today.

I've been running the Hotchkis coils with JLP shackles at 4" (stock leafs for now) with no issues. You might as well go with the Hotchkis sways while you're at it.
I went with http://www.ajusa.com (http://www.ajusa.com/) for all this and my EBCs.
It really helped out handling versus the stock setup.

spindles and de-arched springs will get you a stock ride and NO alignment issues.

I need an alignment bad anyways. I was thinking of ordering the belltech 2" coils and 4" shackle/hanger kit. Sporttruckdirect??? any feedback on them?

I have used them, they are ok..

+1 on the Hotchkis TVS kit. Your ride will get a bit harsher, but your handling will improve dramatically. See if you can find a used set either on NLOC or SVTP.

I have the Roush Kit on mine with QA1's and Hotchkiss sway bars, If I had to buy another lowering kit it would be the Hotchkiss TVS, comes with front springs, rear leafs and front and rear sway bars best kit out there
