Well tis' the season. What are the bets for fuel shortages, price hikes etc.. The news was saying Houston and people on the coast are being structed to evacuate to Dallas in the case of a direct hit. They are postponing construction on 45 and other major road ways to have all lanes open in case they are needed. I wonder how this will affect L Fest for fuel costs etc..

On the TV news last night, they reported that gas prices will be going up because of damage to rigs in thr gulf by hurricane Dean. Just in time for L-Fest.:eek2:

Oil company's are reporting record profits again this year. They will use any excuse to raise the price. I was in Hurricane Elaina in 85 in Gulf port Miss. It was bad, but the gas prices did not go up then. Why is it now?
