Maybe a few little changes to the start this year, but details to follow. I'm thinking something like this...
breakfast at Cracker Barrel/Denton at 8AM with convoy leaving from Race Trac (East of Cracker Barrel) at 9AM. P-break at Oklahoma Rest Stop (exit 3?) and leaving there for Oklahoma City at 10AM. Exit 137 in Oklahoma City ~11:30-11:45. Exit/Gas up for final leg to KC at first toll plaza in Kansas (~2PM). Final leg from South Kansas to KC departure somewhere in the 2:30PM to 3:00 range. Questions/comments? http://www.talonclub.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif

What plans changed ?
I deleted it by accident, when the starting point changed.
I didn't want there to be any confusion for guys not reading the entire thread.
You know how easy it is for confusion on meeting times and places.
I am relying on Sixpipes to post details, he is a much better organizer than me....or is it I?

+1 for me too.. Dennis and Doug, save me a space in there somewhere..
Dennis, you bringing Go_rila? or another one of the G1's?
Doug, you can run my slicks if you need to.. I will need access to a jack but I will bring my jackstands. I do have DR's that I can run as well, for a backup.
Doug, I'll bring the fold up table from last year and a 10x10 awning, but will need to latch it on to someone like last year as well.
Oh, I wont forget the Griots detailing stuff and have my truck looking like a$$ either this year.

Dana
Ill try to remember to throw my jack and 4 way in ...
Everyone - If we are going to GRILL again - we need someone with a grill to bring it - In the past the club has bought food for lunch for 2 days
We will again buy food - Burgers, dogs, chips condiments.
Assuming this happens please respect your fellow members and limit yourself to a single burger or dog until everyone gets one - for 2 reasons - so that we can feed as many as possible AND because they only cook so fast... We could use a grill technician this year as well...
Doug
Note to self to bring empty cooler for the leftovers ....

I just need the basic necessities food, shelter, fuel and hot blonde chicks:tu:. I am putting the truck back to stock this weekend and taking it to the dealer next week. Hopefully it will get new heads or a new engine in time for L Fest. If not we'll have to scrounge up another tow vehicle. I will have tools, generator, air compressor, tents etc in the trailer.

LOL...I get the impression that some of the wives may not find sitting in the heat at the track all day entertaining.

Dealer just called and said the mechanic was out sick and the parts just came so it will not be ready until FRIDAY! This lets the air out of my tires. I spent Sunday loading the trailer, adjusting bearings brakes and washing the damn thing etc... I am in the dumps. I'm just gonna stay here and sit on the floor Indian style until peace and calm overwhelm me:icon_eek:

Tell ya what Doug. I still feel a little guilty for blaming you when I terminated my technician. Go ahead and tell your guy that it is my fault he is being fired.
By the way...any truck drivers tried to run you off the road yet? No real reason for asking...I was just wondering.

Very funny - No in this case Im just doing the backend stuff - I would never fire some one over the phone or email. Today or tomorrow Ill get a call and Ill have about 20 minutes to find an internet connection and disable a Windows Login account, Disable and Wipe a Blackberry and Disable access to a mail file. While Im doing that someone else will be having "the conversation" with them. Then later that day the automated termination will happen after the rest of the company knows.
