For taking care of his house/pool.

Would have loved to ride it tonight, but apparently the diameter of bicycle valve stems as changed in the last 10 years, so no way to air up the tires. Guess a trip to the bicycle shop tomorrow.

Any idea if this is a good bike? It appears to be.

Bastard ass Presta valves the valve of the Devil! Target has a universal inflator for 20 bucks.

WTF so after 114 years someone decided the the Schrader valve wasn't working...

So "PRESTO" lets invent a valve that no one can put air in or check the pressure on.

They are lighter- that's the deal. I bought one of the first carbon fiber frames back in the mid 90's and it was considered very light (it had presta valves also). Now my bike is considered a dinosaur by todays standard. I'm having a hard time parting with it considering I paid as much as an aftermarket blower package.
