thats pretty cheap but it does have 85+ miles on it...
Im thinking about getting my rims powder coated like that but with more of a machined lip on it, think it will look better then the stock look?

That must be what he was worried about getting out and why the idle threats if anyone posted anything negative. LOL........ya gotta love it.
If it is in excellent condition with a clean title, the price is about right.

Over two years ago Brian sold his 2000 for 12,5k.
I'd say these are approx values for private sale of the average truck. It is over 2 grand more than trade in value.

I have an 03 and Carmax wanted to give me $16 with 70K miles on it. I thought that was pretty good but changed my mind and don't regret it at all.

Pretty sad, at this depreciation rate on L the K5 will be worth the same as the L in 3 more years.

When I traded my L in about 6 months ago I got 25,500 for it. It was 04. I think was on something that day.

It was a trade there was money in the deal to work with. Anyway, some are more some are less they are still worth more than any other short cab F150. The greatest depreciation of any vehicle is in the first 5 years after that it plateaus. My brother went to trade his 00' xcab Z71 Silverado on his new one and they offered 5K. So that shows how strong the Lightning is when it is worth more than a nicer more useful 4wd ext cab loaded v8...

I emailed him to find out what the issue was that caused the recon title. I have a friend that is wanting a Lightning. This one looks in good condition, but he is worried about what a recon title will do for resale down the road.
We will see what Kris has to say about it.

This is true. It's no secret here in Houston. I'm not sure why Kris hasn't disclosed this info.

Because he needs to pay for that "up-grade" he bought. It's a nice truck.... But I would not call it an up-grade.

It's not real cool that this guy is attempting to deceive someone into buying his POS truck. Maybe he can come on here with his little BS threat about anyone bashing his truck. No wonder he posted that. The hard to believe part is that there are guys backing him up on that thread.
Not Cool....not cool at all.:Bullshit
