New 08

This guy had an oil leak at the turbo on his week old 08. They pulled the cab to replace the fitting.

thats gotta suck, i dont think they could have put those turbos in a worse spot

They are just sitting by the trans, they are mounted on top of the engine normally. I meta contractor at the bank this morning with a new 08. He said he had 2 7.3's and two 6.0's. He said this is the best one it is just a fuel hog. He said he gets about ten mpg's. I will talk with my Ford buddy if they will give me one cheap enough I will consider trading my 6 leaker in:icon_eek:. I am looking at heads and transmission costing me 4-5 grand out of pocket to repair. 74K miles, If I can get in a new crew cab for 12K out of pocket it would be worth it to me. That would be getting 26K for my truck and a new one for 37-38K. Right now they are offering 4000 in rebates plus I get D plan pricing another 7-8 grand off sticker.
