i recently had my e4od transmission rebuilt, for the 3rd time and it is still doing the exact same thing. shifting hard, down shifting hard, when pedal is to the floor, not much acceleration. i believe that it may have something to do with the ecm if any body has any help i would greatly appreciate it because this is my daily driver. no body not even the ford house carries it any more Brandon

Have you tried pulling codes and seeing what comes up?

Who's doing the tranny work? Same place for the third time?
What do they say about it?
What mods do you have?

Did they install a shift kit? Replace the park neutral gear switch? Sometimes those cause odd issues.

Call my buddy Jerry @ 972-805-7019 he's probably one of the best tranny guys in Dallas . He may be able to help over the phone or at least tell you what to check. He is an expert at fixing other tranny shops screw ups. Tell him George told you to call. he is a cool guy and wont mind helping. That is his personal cell so dont overdo it with the phone calls. :nono:

no speacial mods intake exhaust, took the shift kit out and has regular valve body in place. eagle transmissin was the 3rd place to do it multistate was the first and second , i took it back up there a week ago and no codes came up on the scanner. if it was the tranny wouldnt do it all the time. that is why i think that it is the computer.

My experience with transmissions is you get what you pay for- go cheap and you'll be going back again and again- those shops love repeat business:eek:

They usually drill holes in the separator plate and do other internal mods for hard shifting.
