I am really thinking about getting one of these. The SO and I have been talking about getting some four wheelers again but this may be the route to go

has anyone rode or drove one of these

There were a few of them at the Redneck Games. I am not familiar enough with them to say one way or another yet. I know the Yamaha Rhinos are intensely popular and even have turbo kits on the market. There is Rhino everything from the aftermarket.

I am not to much on Polaris either but the Yamaha is nice. The old Ranger said it could hold something like 1200lbs but once that was in it the damn thing would not turn or barely move at that.

I would most likely be using this for weekend ATV type trips and some light duty around the Casa

I am going to look at one when I get back from Colorado next week

I think Tiff is lashing out at me about the mini van comment:throw:

they run like crap, and my personal experience with one was up in colorado on our yearly elk hunting trip, one guy that hunts with us started his 700 polaris up to warm it up, gave it some gas and throttle froze open and it threw they guy off and the fourwheeler didnt stop till it met broad side with a half ton dodge, caved in the whole side of the truck:icon_mrgreen:

Polaris is good old American made squeaky, clanky junk. Heavy as lead, underpowered, etc. You could match thier build quality in any HS Automotive program.

I had a 97 scrambler 500 and a 2000 scrambler 400 both ran perfect and never left me or the wife stranded.....:tu:

They are American made which is not good for quality. They have changed a LOT I think Kawi made their engines at one point. Cat did not or does not make their own engines. There was huge parts and service supply chain problem. Their dealers are few and far between. Honda, "Best on Earth". Some are faster some have more bling but a Honda will last and last like everything else with Honda on the label. Yamaha is #2 to Honda for reliability and Suzuki at #3 then Kawi at #3.5 Honda jsut released a side by side Bigred this year. It is underpowered as most Honda's are. If it is new and under warranty about anything is doable, just like a six liter power stroke!

I like the Yamaha but Honda will last forever. We have an old 95 honda 4trax 250 type. Got it brand new and we just changed the spark plug for the 1st time about 2 months ago and has had 2 oil changes. Still runs great. :bows

Since Honda just released theirs, wont be long before they are really in the game.. nice thing about Honda's is that they arent hard to sell either, well usually arent.
