Why Wes Tarbox I did not know you had started drinking alcohol:rll:

Dont discount the Cowboys! Who has New England played?

We have just as many weapons on offense as they do, and if Romo

bounces back as I suspect he should we will get those yankee invaders!

Cowboys 35 New England 28

The Bills were the first on the board with 7. We stuck em on their 6 with a sweet punt. Time to see if our defense can hold them...

Buy the entire defense something too. 3 points allowed by the defense. Tony Korndog and "Jaws" (who is completely biased against the Cowboys) are ready to elect Bills QB Edwards the next king... the fact is, he and his offense didn't do squat vs. the 'Boys tonight.

We need Keith Davis back on special teams. That's 2 kicks returned for TDs in 2 weeks. And yes... one guy makes a _big_ difference on kick returns.

As poorly as Romo played, his receivers didn't help him much... T.O. dropped 3 passes, Barber dropped one, etc. The fact is that if you can turn the ball over 6x and win a game in the NFL, you have a pretty darn good team.

Kudos to Folk for two clutch kicks at the end.

Eventually, that timeout trick is going to backfire. Tonight it had no effect, but one day the kicker is going to miss the first one and then come back and drill the second one. Then coaches will stop doing that stuff.

Great work by the Kicker - 2 high pressure - Career long kicks in a row. the slow mo of the second one showed it cleared the bar by about a yard maybe 2 ...

It sucks they didnt interview the kicker after the game

Its good that it wasnt easy - make them work harder -

That time out rule is going to be trouble before this season is over with. Like Terry says, it would be great to see a coach pull that sh!t when a kick misses and then have to watch the next one get made.

Well I was up past freakin' midnite watching the game.. one of the best MNF games in some time.. hated to see all the turnovers but it was good to see them come back and biatch slap Buffalo at the end. There were a lot of non-calls by the refs in this game.. those went both ways. The defense did a pretty good job, but they did allow some big plays here and there.. they wont be able to do that against the Pats. I has to be a real morale booster that they did win the game with everything that went on..

Go 'Boys

however, I dont have that warm and fuzzy feeling for the game next week.

Great job of commentary last night men, I had a good laugh reading your thread this morning! Defense has improved last three weeks, and we need Henry healthy for New England this week, Wes is right we need "drive by" Keith Davis back on special teams badly.
T.O. dropped his normal amount but that call in the third when he catches
the ball gets his left foot down and was clearly pushed out of bounds, and they wave it off "Wrong" Also he did not spike the ball in the first quarter for a penalty. At the end of the game that guy ran through him and face guarded in the end zone "no call"
Folk "Hero" what a great onside kick and little Sam Hurd nice job almost catching it then rookie Tony Curtis big hustle to recover it.
New England is good, but so are we I am sure Romo will not be snuggling with Carrie Underwood this week after last night and Romo also gets Wade Wilson his quarterback coach back from suspension today!!
Cowboy Up men and keep the faith!!!

It is clever insight. You know that is going to happen sooner or later. I will be surprised if somebody doesn't get into a football field brawl over it eventually. That has to be pissing guys off. I know it makes me want to kick the dog.

Pats 35, Cowboys 17.

But that's ok. Really. NE is playing awesome right now. They are peaking, and I don't see how they can maintain that through another 11 games + playoffs. Most likely they will lose a game or two later in the season and then ramp it back up for the playoffs. But right now, they are significantly better than the Cowboys.

But... the Cowboys are going to get better as the year progresses, and I bet they peak ~playoff time, which is all that really matters.

Mine works:confused:. I have been recording VOD movies, football and MMA fights for distribution to anyone that wants a free copy. It's my way of saying F.U. to Verizon for not allowing me to record VOD on their crappy as DVR box. On my FIOS box I have an HDMI output a Component output an S video output and a standard antenna output. Your "HD DVR" is actually not High definnition. It is using up convert and get's damn close to HD, but it is not in the same class as the new HD players. It doesn't record in HD either. Which would be the reason for it not having a component or HDMI input. You can connect your S video out on your FIOS box to the S video in of your "HD DVR" and then using a wye connector off of the left and right audeo out of the FIOS box, connect left and right audio to your "HD DVR".

Now if your new "HD DVR" isn't recording anything anyway...it's broke:icon_mrgreen:, so connecting it properly won't help you.

There is no reason for a Set top box to have any input other than coax

The box records at 720 or 1080 resolution depending on the show - thats HD - I would agree that your DVD isnt HD - and the DVD player might be upconverting but the Set top box is receiving and broadcasting in HD

I hae no need for a DVD recorder since I will never take the time to record anything and will never watch it again
