He had dry slicks I guess he didn't realize he was pushing the front street tires. You only get one chance to heat up slicks.

That was the funniest dad gummed vid I have ever seen....:rll::rll::rll:. Wet tires won't help you if the track has put VHT just after the water box. I have run at Ennis during FFW events when they had it so damned sticky from the water box up, that I couldn't get my slicks to spin for sh!t. I just move on up and launch, since it usually is just as sticky at the starting line.

I don't think the track official could stop that silly sum bitch anyway. Who the hell wants to run out in front of a guy like that and wave him off? Not unless you have a death wish:rll:. In my opinion, they did the right thing to just stay back and let him play it out.

I just watched the vid from the very beginning. It looks like he pulled up way beyond the water box before his burnout attempt. I bet he was sitting in VHT. I always stop just after the water box.

I dont have much experience heating tires @ the track but i would have quit the first attempt that was pushing the locked up front wheels.Looks like after he hit the wall he just tried to tuck his tail and ease down the track :icon_redface:.Nice looking/sounding L..Had to be a teenager,i saw the peanut gallery in front of the camera.He also was revin it in neutral before his burn.Was one of those hold my beer watch this.
