Yep another hacked up trailered race truck with a GT block 9" rear end etc... A thousand lbs will get you every bit of a full second. That is lighter than a Cobra for peats sake...
Chromoly 9" rear,
glass leafs relocated to inside of frame
GT block
manual rack and AJE
aerospace and wilwood brakes
gutted interior, no ac, radio, power windows, etc.
gutted inside of bed and redid with all aluminum sheetmetal work
5 gal fuel cell, 4 gallon intercooler cell
steel bumpers removed
We are planning on removing alot of the Ford wiring that is not needed or used any longer right now and possibly the booster and abs system???

I saw that too. When I read that he had shed 1000 + pounds, my first thought was..."where the hell did they find 1000 lbs of unnecessary stuff?" So I start thinking about my truck and how I can lighten it up. I'll be damned if I am going to drive around with no AC or radio. That's out. Cut up the frame? Not in this lifetime. Spend thousands of dollars on suspension mods...Like hell I am. Guess i will try to loose 50 lbs or so. I can't think of anything on my truck that I want to throw out....
