99,000 Australian Dollar = 89,016.8 US Dollar
99,000 US Dollar (USD) = 110,103 Australian Dollar (AUD)

I spent a month in Sydney playing baseball, prices for American imported items is ridiculous, even if the exchange rate is that close, that is probably right on the money for how much it costs in taxes, right side steering conversion, costs to have it shipped over, etc etc
Now for European vehicles you can cut the costs in half not sure why but one of my coaches bought a brand new range rover while we were there and had it shipped back to the states

just think how much it would cost to ship it there, depending on it you fly with or against the jet stream its 14 and 16 hour flights, now think about the truck on a container ship to Australia

they made conversions for owners that live in countries that drive one the left side of the road and most cars in those countries have the steering wheels on the right.
The "05" is probably a misprint
Why does it cost so much over there???? Well when they make an average of 5,000 Lightnings per year, how many do you think made it to Australia. There are also about zero trucks on the roads over there, most are small cars like in Europe because gas is pretty expensive there

Right hand drive would be cool but did you notice that the seats were not switched. The independent drivers seat is now the passengers seat.
