That's a good point you bring up yeah they committed a sex offence and that's wrong but if you take there jobs away from them they will most likely go out and commit another sex offence dam lady she should just mind her own business, she should focus on the sex offenders that don't register.

I bet these guys must be embarrassed when ever they look for a job and the employer asks if you have ever been committed of a crime, how do they not run a back round check that's a little scary not knowing who is who the guy standing next to you at the store can be a criminal.

I sympathize a little. Society views them as horrible people and many are but the blanket category is not right. For example a parent doesn't like their 15 yo daughter dating a 17yo boy, he gets labled as a sex offender for the rest of his life... that's just not right. In GA they just released a 19 yo kid after he served 3 years in prison because a 15yo girl gave him oral when he was 16 and everything was consensual. The State DA wanted him to serve 10 years.

I'm not saying teenagers having sex isn't wrong, I just saying it isn't criminal. And certainly they shouldn't be punished for the rest of their life.

I had a friend back in Hs...he was 19...girl was just not yet 17...they messed around and she wanted to go out with him after that but he didnt....soo she ****ed him over and got him trouble...

I saw on the news a few weeks ago about a 16 year old in Mansfield getting arrested or searched for something...they went through his phone and he had some pics of a 15 year old naked or something like that...they were trying to charge him with child pornography?
....16 year old girls look like 20...I had a hard time staying away when I was a senior :evil

I do sympathize some what for certain ones as well. Everyone makes mistakes and should be given a second chance to change and get their life in order. The ones that I look down on the most though are the ones that have multiple offenses. Those are the ones that I have no sympathy for, nor do I think that they should even be back out on the streets with the opportunity to even have a job. :flaming:

To help you and others out. The reason she is "picking" on these trades is because these trades involve a total stranger coming into your home. I don't know about other folks, but I really don't want a rapist or child molester around my home or family. I also don't want a convicted burglar or thief scoping out my sh!t for later retrieval. I say...KUDOS to her for getting the riff raff out of the business.

It isn't the money Rocks it is the hours, weather and poor working conditions in general. It isn't a good way to get old. Garbage men make 70K a year but would you consider standing on the bumper of a truck picking up rotted trash a good job just because it paid well? If these guys weren't in the trades what else could they do to make a decent living? Some of these guys had crimes against 5yr olds etc. But they seemed to be just doing their job on these reports. They served time and were on probation trying to fly right.

The last thing people need to worry about is that the carpet cleaning company or HVAC company is sending some scum bag sex offender into their homes. Maybe you don't care at this point in your life. But one day, you will have a family and home you want to protect. You will think different about risk levels at that point.
