WTB: Lightning Exhaust

I'm looking for:
Flowmaster American Thunder
Magna Flow
Mac

Along those lines just want a mean sounding exhaust I know it doesn't do anything really for the truck.

Just curious about your reasons?

Catback exhaust doesn't really do anything for performance your just buying the sound and name. So I was just wondering why you wouldn't go with either of those.

Mac and Flows are junk made from junk metals and designs. Due to their baffled design both hurt the power as well. One is essentially a cheaper copy of the other. Their tips look like butt, heavy etc.. Bassani sounds the best and Magnaflow is the quietest. That is that.

All the things I could find on them said they were made by Magnflow but just stamped the other name on. Any input would be great thanks again.

I have a use flowbastard (1 chamber) in my garage collecting dust....It's only one though with a 3" inlet/3" outlet....I did have two of them but my bro in law took one and put it on his Honda Prelude:confused:. I'm going with Magnaflow this time around just to try something different. The Flowbastards sounded mean and loud but it was time for something new..

I am happy with my FM's. They were on the truck when I bought it and I don't see the need to change. BTW Terry, when I asked about them before you never mentioned that I was losing power running the FM's.

If u go with flowmaster get 2 - 40 series mufflers thats what I had

I have bassani with the big cats off and the little ones still on and it sounds loud and mean for me, plus the you can still hear the loud whine of the supercharger makes it sound like a beast whining and roaring
