Hey guys, I came across this while at work tonight. Its really free. I have already ordered mine. The only way to really get it for free though is if you have never used Google Checkout for anything. If you have a gmail account then use it to create a Google Checkout account and you get this thing basically given to you for free. Not even a shipping charge. It would cost 10.00 but if you are creating a new Google Checkout account then you are getting a discount if 10.00 for new account.

I have a four gig one already but I figured FREE!! So what the hell....

I tried but I was still charged the $10. I never used google checkout before so I gave this a whirl. I canceled the order.

Hmm, that's weird. Mine went thru as shown in the pic, and all the guys here at work had no problems either. Did you use the pull down to make sure to get free shipping?

Yep it worked for everyone here at work too. There's a thread over on the bimmer forums where a buddy found it. ALL of them have done it as well. FREE stuff is always nice. Especially when they send it right to your door. :evil

Screw another thumb drive - I used it to get the new Kid Rock cd. Not a huge fan, but it was on sale for ten bucks, had free shipping, and consequently cost me nothing!knana

google just charged me $1.00 for this. you might want to check your statements and make sure they didn't charge anyone else.
