View Full Version : Fog Lights
Town East Ford said my fog lights where craked from rocks. I tried to pull up old post but search would only pull up post for this month. Any ideas what I can do to get new fog lights? 01

pull it out and throw it through the front window...that should get their attention....Ford blew a big one when they changed from the Hella Glass...GERMAN QUALITY....to save a few pennies...

You run your finger across the lens and cannot feel the lines. Rock chips are from the front side.
Try going to another dealership, like Skyline Ford, I just went there this weekend with the same problem and the service advisor ordered them for me, he told me to check in, in a couple of days to see if they were there so they can be put on.(both of mine were also cracked)

Uh, my quality German glass on my 2000 broke after 5 days of ownership. Replaced under warranty, and then surprisingly no other problems until recently when one of them "yellowed" for some reason. $77 for a replacement lens. :flaming:

Just get a couple sets of 87-93 Mustang Fog lenses from Texas Mustang. $17.95 each. Repro's of the Hella's. Look identical, not as bright though.
I went through about 3 sets with my 99.
Get authentic Hella lenses online for about $55/ea

And after you've bought a replacement set buy a set of covers from www.headlightsavers.com and you'll never have to worry about it again. :tu:

You can get them through http://www.rallylights.com/
I forget the Hella part number for the Lightning lense. Take one of yours off, there should be a hella number on it, plunk it into the website's database and order away. Or just call em I guess.
http://www.mustangparts.com/ also sells them as 87-93 Mustang Hella's for $50
