The stock market seems to be plumeting again today. I am still young, but into stocks due to family ties. As time and trends in history have showed, its about time for the economy to slide into a recession it seems. The next few months or even weeks may be the best time to purchase a few stocks if you have been waivering about it at all.

Is a Recession on the Horizon??

The dow fell 1.83 %
Is that worth being concerned about ?
We were at these levels in May and twice in August
Is the expectation that stocks do nothing but go up ?

I didn't think there was a strong Friday turnout at the stores. I drove past several malls and stores all weekend and they parking lots were half full. I am concerned. Being unemployed facing a weakening economy is scary.

Actually, all the reports say otherwise.. that spending is up from last year and there were expectations that spending would be down.. so good things ahead.. be optimistic..

Only down 1.8% today, but down 10% since the high in October. Correction was officially announced today. It's always hard to tell if a recession would come but it makes for a good debate sometimes.

Of course it's always expected that stocks do nothing but go up in the long run.....especially with our greedy american mentality. :icon_mrgreen:
