Hello to all. I figure that I have owned my Lightning long enough to make it official. For those of you who know "Dean!", he has sold his 02'. Luckly for me, I was in the market for an 02' at the same time he was selling his. So long story short, I am the proud owner of a 02' True Blue. Just wanted to say hello, and I'll be posting off and on getting to know everyone hopefully. Posting soon....

A red 2002 is more rare than is a True Blue 02. :D

Black was the only color produced in a greater number than True Blue for the 2002 model year. Someone post up the link to the build numbers. True Blue is up there..

Now a white 02 is a rarity. When I purchased my truck in January, white wasn't scheduled to be produced. I would be known as White2002 had I known differently, but I think I made a wise choice anyway. :)

Actually, no. I was supposed to go out and meet everyone for that cruise, and I ended up having to stay around the house and do christmas stuff. I keep my eye out for the next meeting or get together at Bonedaddys and come out. Or I can bring the L to the strip the next time everyone goes out.

Just as I though....Owning one of these would bring in a whole new idea on Dallas traffic. Just passed through Coit and Campbell and come across another L and got the friendly wave from the owner.
Funny how we all know that we are all having one hell of a time driving these trucks.

I don't own an L anymore, but I still lurk around - good group of people here. :)

PS. You got some nice Hawk Performance Street brake pads up front. I got the front stockers with like 5k miles on them for free, if anyone needs them in an emergency.

Also I have an OEM Ford Motorcraft 820S oil filter for free, Michael gets first dibs - then if anyone is in a bind and needs it...I got one... come and get it.
