Well i did a search on this i saw a couple things about phones. I did not see anything about a new agreement with the company i have At&T. I was wondering if i stay with them should i get a new phone. And if so do i get the same kind i have or something else.

Don't worry about the above posts... lucky for you I speak 5 languages: English, Dumbs*hit, Dumb*ss, Dumbf*ck, and finally yours which is a combo of all 4!! For the sake of arguement, we'll call it English Dumbs*hit*ssf*ck.
When you first got your phone, you signed an agreement for X number of years. When your agreement is up you can either switch companies or stay with the one you are with. They will usually have some kind of special on a new phone if you sign another contract for X number of years. Some phones will be free (the base phones) and some will cost a little $$$ (the popular phones) BUT will not be full price. You can get ANY phone you want that will work with your network and are not limited to the same phone your currently own. The only thing I'm not postive on is if the contract automatically renews or if they send you a notice that it's about to expire. It should have stated that in your original contract.
Hope this helps asshat!! :tu:

If you switch providers you will most likely get stuck with the 175 termination fee. I think you have to give 30 days notice before your contract ends or it renews automatically. I have never timed it right, they start dropping calls and I drop them and pay the fee.

WOW!, Talk about eating your young!!!:rll: LS1 is right. With AT&T you may or may not get a notice to renew. Just hit your local store or go on-line and see if you can upgrade your phone and that will renew your conctract. I renewed some time back and got a free Razor. I find the better deals on-line rather than in the store.
